In addition to staff attorneys, the Office of the Public Defender always welcomes the assistance of legal interns. Interns can be attorneys searching for experience, law clerks or CLIs (certified legal interns). Our office also allows investigative and legal assistant interns to work with us in order to gain valuable experience. In some cases you may be eligible to receive school credit. At times we allow high school students to fulfill the community service credit necessary for graduation.
